My daughter Li Ya is now 5 yrs old. She was born in 2002 April 29. She is pretty, clever, humourous, cheerful, energetic, sensitive and sympathetic.
The other day while I was busy cleanning up the kitchen, she asked "Mum, do you love me?" Just started recently she asked so many times per day the same question so I answered "why you ask me so many time a day,dear".
Immediately, she spoke firmly that " Mum, do you know why I ask you so many times because I want you to say I love you, I want to test you. I want to ask 5 times a day - one in the morning, afternoon I will ask grandmother, when you come back home from work, I will ask you again and before sleep I would ask again." ( I was puzzled how she counted five times, there is only four times).
I was wondered with her response and I tell myself why so impatience about her question, just answer your baby whenever she ask. It may be a bit bothering but definitely they need our assurance to show how much we love them.
